My writing process has come along way since ENG 111. I believe that I have learned many new techniques and different styles when setting up and writing an essay. Although I do think the book has good ideas and I can honestly say I didn’t really reference to it at all. I believe my writing process is where is it is at because of class discussions and class activities. I credit my A essays to my instructor and my peers not to the book. I think that when we discuss as a class the different styles of writing mentioned in the book really benefit my as a writer. I didn’t get much out of sitting in my room and reading through the chapters, doing that just put me to sleep. But when we discussed writing techniques in class and we drafted outlines of our final essay that really helped me when writing my final essay. I believe it is essential to be a good communicator in order to be a good writer. Through communication during peer review and conferences with my instructor it shaped my ideas and techniques and helped me write a good essay. My writing process is a rocket after liftoff and my essay three is mission accomplished!
